150 North Michigan Avenue

150 North Michigan Avenue is located in close proximity to many of the city's important artistic and cultural assets, including Millennium Park. The building's original east-facing lobby was enclosed by cold, dark surfaces and was nearly invisible to pedestrians outside due to dark window tinting.  

We reinvented the lobby using warm, inviting materials and upgraded lighting, widened the entryways, opened up the glazing and visibility to Michigan Avenue and relocated the escalator to provide space for a new seating area. Our work transformed the lobby into a space with a vibrant sense of place that extends the building's presence out into its surroundings.
